Lendale Johnson Returns To International Pro Circuit Tour

The true beauty of sport is not all about the glorified star athletes as the world likes to display, but of the hidden journey and transformations countless athletes must endure to reach their ultimate goals in their careers. Lendale Johnson has entered the $1,000 Men’s Open Championships at the Miller Tennis Center in Williamsville, NY unseeded with hopes of finding his A-game. He will face unknown player Dirk Dugan in the 1st round at 1:30pm EST on Friday 01/17/2010, with the tournament format he‘ll also face the #2 Seed Ethan Nittolo at 9:00pm EST later in the evening.

Johnson suffered a concussion in 2017, a setback that changed his life. After a successful business venture to New York, he’s the founder and head Instructor at The Johnson High Performance Tennis Academy. A celebrity and public tennis academy serving private clients in the Tri-state and New Jersey. He is the star of “Deuces And Love” a new reality tv show about his life and the stars that he instructs.

Johnson: “I’m very excited to be back in the game, I’ve really missed competing and I will go into this tournament with nothing to lose as I’m looking to see where my game is at.”

The Miller Tennis Men’s Open Championships have attracted formidable NCAA players and ATP players including Jordan Benjamin. His current world ranking is #1677 according to the ITF website:

The main draw winner will receive a check for $600, Finalist $300, and 3rd place $100.
