Lendale is the 1st openly gay player in history since the sport turned professional in 1968. He runs and develops our tennis programs while also competing on the ITF Pro Circuit and UTR tournaments.

Guillermo Artiz

Guillermo has played on the ITF/ATP Challenger Tour and attended St. Francis College in Brooklyn, he’s originally from Spain. Fluent in both English and Spanish with a strong passion to help your tennis game reach the highest level.

Welcome to The Johnson High Performance Tennis Academy! We are an award winning celebrity and public tennis academy based in major U.S. cities and international locations owned and operated by rising star Lendale Johnson for kids, beginners and advanced tennis players.

We offer high performance tennis programs in New York, Chicago, & New Jersey that intergrade a history of the sport, health and wellness plans, smart goal planning, weekly player progress reports, video analysis and USTA tournament scheduling for kids, beginners, adults, celebs, & organizations.
