Happy Valentine's Day everyone! My life has been so crazy I don't even know where to start, let's face the truth. We all are going through something, whether it's visible or not. We need each other, we need love, it's programmed into our DNA (Lady Gaga's Super Bowl performance is a great example) and the most fascinating reality about love is that millions of us seek it to the point of losing our minds, working a job for someone else, getting in the wrong marriage, the wrong relationship, obsessing over someone that girl or guy, the list is literally endless. What's the end result? Did you find "The One"? Did you find "LOVE"? If so, then what happens now, tomorrow, next year?
Love starts with you and no one else...
Fall in love with yourself completely before seeking out another person to love. The mind is shaped and stretched by our parents, our experiences, and the people we spend the very most time with. The power of influence and the Law Of Attraction are always at work, constantly. Love has the power to change you, the power heal things that seemed impossible to heal, but will you be patient with it? Reap the benefits. Will you enjoy the journey and live for the now? I have and by doing so have learned so much about love and my self-identity. People say follow your heart, what I believe this really means is to find the root to your superpowers and by that I mean find your innate gift or gifts and manifest them into a service for others. There's your purpose right there-
Organized religion, fear, and self-sabotage are the biggest weapons against a pure and innocent love connection. We attract all things through energy and vibrations, so be sure to self-assess your unique situation with clarity and from a non-judgmental or more or less not a programmed mind.
Who's the guy ? His name is Dallas. I met him in my hometown years ago before the fame, we have known each other for a long time. An invaluable connection for me, after riding the fame wave you build up walls and question everything for it's intent. It's been nice to have him around over the years while I worked on my careers, fell in valleys and climbed mountains if you will. We all need someone to express ourselves to in the most organic ways, so I'm grateful for Dallas. We finally met up and talked about life as we know it. The funny thing is, what do we really know about life? I know we all are trying our best to live in a way that makes us truly happy. At the end of the day, that's all that matters. Why are we so happy in this photo? I haven't seen him in years and vice-versa! This was a long time coming, I'm so busy flying around the world and working on projects that it gets overwhelming. I find it hard to keep up with family and loves ones being so career driven but I manage. I've watched my friends and family get married, have kids, and date. It's beautiful to witness, life is beautiful. For me, I have dated here and there and have fallen in love too. Real love is not a disillusion, when you feel that energy is consumes your very existence in a way I can't fully put into words. You become high from their very presence, time becomes nothing and every second with them is a dream come true. If you're busy, find time for them even if it's just a few mins. Tell them you love them, write them notes, voice mails, cook for them, shop together, eat together, read together, workout together, cry together. Communication is the key, don't be afraid of fully revealing yourself because real love is fluid. All of this goes for dating too.
I dedicate this post to Oh Land and all the lost souls out here looking for real love!
"We're young, we're free to believe strong in our minds. We were taught and raised to believe that human is kind, but love has many faces and some of them are blind". Lyrics by Oh Land
